Beech Tree Cottage - The Area
ESCAPE
the stresses of modern life by staying in this self-catering luxury
cottage with spectacular panoramic views over the River Teifi Valley.
Enjoy the peace of the countryside by walking in the hills or Cambrian
Mountains, relaxing in the garden, bird watching for the rare Red Kite
or fishing in the many local rivers and lakes. You can visit Welsh Castles,
steeped in history, or pan for gold in the famous Welsh gold mines.
You can ride in a steam train, watch crafts people at work, or follow
in the footsteps of Dylan Thomas. Stone circles and long barrows mark
the ancient history of the Land of King Arthur and his knights.
Beech Tree Self Catering Cottage is perfectly situated just a half
hour drive to the spectacular Ceredigion Coast line. The area is designated
Heritage Coast with wonderful scenery that gives home to some of Britain’s
rarest birds and marine species. Bottle nosed Dolphins swim in the bays
of Mwnt and New Quay. You could spend every day of your holiday exploring
the many bays and coves of this delightful coast, or walk the cliff
paths and listen to the call of sea birds.
If your preference is for country walking there are many local trails
nearby, whilst for the more energetic who prefer mountain hiking, the
Cambrian Mountains are on your doorstep.
If you tire of all the tranquillity and yearn for the bustle of town
life, the university, market town of Lampeter is only a stone throw
away with friendly people, interesting small shops and supermarkets,
good restaurants and welcoming pubs. The larger towns of Aberystwyth
or Carmarthen are only forty minutes’ drive away.
In Beech Tree Self Catering Cottage in West Wales you will find a folder
with all the local attractions that will make your holiday enjoyable
